Back from Delhi
All in all, it was a very eventful trip with several unforgettably surreal moments, such as when FM offered half his dosa to me at breakfast, and when I got to sit at the same table as PM at the Sheraton. Needless to say I was extremely star-struck and proceeded to knock over a glass of wine after I had introduced myself to him. Doh!! Thankfully none of it fell on him. Now THAT'd have been a true disaster...
Also got to be the helper at a treaty signing, whose key role was to point at the space where FM was supposed to sign. ALMOST knocked over the ink blotter which for some reason had been placed precariously right at the edge of the table but managed to skilfully avert near-crisis.
Looking forward to my next working trip!

Hey, I just came across your blog and I'm wondering what exactly you do. Your job sounds interesting and you have a bunch of neat posts. Don't worry, I'm not a stalker, just curious about what you do. Thanks.
Hi Jenna =). I work in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore. I think you get that impression becos i've been blogging about my recent work trip to Delhi (which indeed was quite exciting!). But it's like most other office jobs really, paperchase and all. And yourself? What do you do?
Well it sounds like an exciting job to me since you probably get to travel a lot!
I'm a student at the University of Oregon in the U.S. I'm studying science and spanish. I want to get into an M.D./Ph.D. program to become a doctor and conduct research.
